Analogy on the use of AI in Dev Work
You are organizing your wedding, the documentation team is asking 40k for the wedding package. They will use an Iphone 16 pro max to cover the event and CapCut for the same day edit video. The documentation team has 2 years of experience and has an above average portfolio. Would you agree to that deal?
My Personal View
Whether I agree or disagree with the deal, it would depend on the quality of the product. If they can provide sufficient evidence that demonstrates their product being professionally made despite the use of an Iphone 16pro max and Capcut then the price of 40k may be acceptable. After all equipment alone isn’t everything, creativity, editing style and the final product matters more.
People may say no immediately due to the absurd price and their equipment. However, times are changing and AI is growing at an unprecedented speed. And maybe in the future there would be a thin line between beginners and professionals due to the advancement of AI.
