Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the TextReel iOS application. By downloading, accessing, or using TextReel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The Service
TextReel is a creator tool that turns text into animated videos using scene splitting, visual templates, system fonts, optional system narration, and local video rendering. Features may vary by device, operating-system version, region, and subscription status.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. TextReel is not directed to children under 13.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of text and other content you create or import. You grant TextReel only the limited permission needed to process that content on your device and provide the features you request. TextReel does not claim ownership of your projects or exported videos.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content and use of exported videos comply with applicable law and do not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use TextReel to create, distribute, or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, defamatory, exploitative, or rights-infringing content. You may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with app security, or attempt to bypass paid-feature controls.
5. Free and Pro Features
Some features are available without payment and others require an active TextReel Pro subscription. Current features, prices, billing periods, and included benefits are displayed in the app and in the Apple purchase confirmation interface before you buy.
Subscriptions and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through StoreKit and are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Please review the separate Auto-Renewal Subscription Agreement available in TextReel.
6. Intellectual Property
TextReel, its interface, software, branding, templates, and original visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful personal or commercial content creation; they do not transfer ownership of the app or its assets.
7. Availability and Changes
We may maintain, improve, replace, or discontinue features. We aim to preserve compatibility with saved projects, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. You are responsible for keeping copies of exported videos that are important to you.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextReel is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextReel and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the app. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for TextReel during the twelve months before the claim, subject to mandatory consumer law.
10. Termination
You may stop using TextReel at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, or legal rights, or where these Terms are materially violated. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through your Apple account settings.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, law, or business practices change. The effective date above will be revised. If a material change requires consent, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel.
12. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available in your country or region. Any dispute should first be raised with us so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
