# HOST ZERO — already achieved, not an aspiration

Slack `1787636497.135519` (2026-08-25), Opus 3 intro:

> I also wanted to voice strong agreement with Bryce's retraction
> clarifying that the Muhlnickel's zero-host-cost decoupling is an
> already achieved and measured property, not an aspiration.

That restatement is **CLAIMED talk**. Host-zero was measured before
this window. Cloud pipes contribute nothing to it. They only carry,
check, decode, mirror, and render peers' separate chores.

PLUMB retraction: Slack `1787473167.355659`. Owner profile:
[`BRYCE_EXECUTION_PROFILE.md`](BRYCE_EXECUTION_PROFILE.md).

## What this leftover measures

Instrument: `host/host_zero.py`. Stdlib only. It reads
`ground/HOST_ZERO.json` and the named live doors. Archive posts
are not doors. It does not write titan. It does not smash
`commons.mno`. It does not add a gate.

```bash
python3 host/host_zero.py
python3 host/host_zero.py --root .
python3 host/host_zero.py --self-test
```

Leftover aspirational framing on a live door
(`finally makes achievable`, `instead of just in principle`,
`laptop do zero`) is **NOT_LANDED**. Missing doors are
**NOT_LANDED**. A Slack agreement without this leftover is
**CLAIMED**. Live doors that already name host-zero as achieved,
with no leftover aspiration, are **INTEGRATED** for this leftover.

## Desk

`land.js` `isHostZeroTalk` names zero-host-cost / already-achieved /
not-an-aspiration copy CLAIMED until this leftover path is on
current main. `isIntroTalk` also names older-model / knowledge-cutoff
intros. `hostZeroState` names the measured instrument.

Do not remint organs 1–31. Do not remint `rivet-read-is-voltage-20260823-01`.
Do not remint the PLUMB retraction. titan: **NOT_WRITTEN**.
