Tend is a small, private app for keeping a personal promise. It is built to hold your information as lightly as possible. This policy explains, plainly, what stays on your device and the one thing that can leave it — only if you choose.
Everything you create in Tend — your promise, its colour, your daily progress, and the days you kept it — is stored only on your device, using your device's local storage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
Tend has an optional feedback screen. Only if you type a message and tap send, the text you wrote and the category you picked ("an idea," "something broke," or "just hello") are sent to the app's maker to help improve Tend. This message is delivered through Google (Apps Script and Google Sheets), which stores it for the maker to read.
Feedback is anonymous: Tend does not attach your name, email, device identifier, or location to it. We only receive what you chose to write. Please don't include personal or sensitive information in the feedback text — only send what you're comfortable sharing.
Tend is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Because your promise data lives only on your device, you control it directly — deleting the app removes it. For feedback you've already sent, you can ask the maker to delete it by emailing the address below.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
