Shruti Tuner is a violin tuner and tanpura drone app published by OptiPro. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
The app uses your microphone only while the tuner is open, to measure the pitch of the string you are playing. The sound is analysed on your phone in real time and then discarded. It is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.
None. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no internet access. Your settings (shruti, string order, reference pitch, tanpura options) are stored only on your phone and are removed when you uninstall the app.
When the tanpura is playing, the app shows a notification with a Stop button so the drone can keep playing with the screen off. No information is sent with it.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
