• Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database and shared preferences

3. Information from Third-Party Services

• LinkedIn: If you choose to import data from LinkedIn, we access publicly available information from your LinkedIn profile URL
• Groq AI API: When using AI-powered features, your CV data may be sent to Groq AI for content generation and enhancement

2. AI-Enhanced Content: To generate professional summaries, suggest skills, and enhance your CV content using AI services

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• SQLite Database: For storing CV data, saved CVs, and user preferences
• Shared Preferences: For app settings, theme preferences, and language selection
• Local File System: For storing profile images and exported PDF files

We do not store your data on external servers or cloud services. Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it.

Security Measures

• Biometric Authentication: The app supports Face ID/Touch ID to protect access to your CV data
• PIN Protection: Optional PIN-based authentication for app security
• Local Encryption: Data is stored securely on your device using platform-native security features

Third-Party Services

Groq AI API

When you use AI-powered features (such as generating professional summaries or enhancing CV content), your CV data is sent to Groq AI's API for processing. This includes:

• Your name, job title, and professional information
• Work experience and education details
• Skills and other CV content

Purpose: To generate AI-enhanced content for your CV

LinkedIn Import

If you choose to import data from LinkedIn:

• We access publicly available information from your LinkedIn profile
• This data is processed locally on your device
• We do not store your LinkedIn credentials or access your private LinkedIn data

Permissions We Request

The app requests the following permissions to provide its features:

1. Camera (NSCameraUsageDescription): To take photos for your CV profile picture
2. Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): To select images from your photo library for your CV profile picture
3. Photo Library Add (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): To save exported CV images to your photo library (optional)
4. Face ID/Touch ID (NSFaceIDUsageDescription): To authenticate and secure access to your CV data
5. File Access: To import/export CV data files (handled through system file picker)

All permissions are optional and only requested when you use the corresponding features. You can deny any permission, though some features may not be available.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do NOT Share Your Data

When Data May Leave Your Device

Your data may leave your device only in the following circumstances:

1. AI Processing: When using AI features, your CV data is sent to Groq AI API for content generation
2. Explicit Sharing: When you choose to:
   • Export your CV as a PDF
   • Share your CV via email, messaging apps, or social media
   • Save files to cloud storage services (iCloud, Google Drive, etc.)
3. LinkedIn Import: When importing from LinkedIn, we access publicly available data from LinkedIn's servers

• What information you include in your CV
• Whether to use AI features
• Whether to share or export your CV
• Whether to grant app permissions

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

1. Access: You can view all your CV data within the app at any time

3. Deletion: You can delete individual CVs or all app data by uninstalling the app
4. Export: You can export your CV data as PDF or other formats
5. Permission Control: You can grant or revoke app permissions through your device settings
6. Opt-Out: You can choose not to use AI features to keep all data local

Data Retention

• Active Data: Your CV data is retained on your device as long as the app is installed
• Deleted Data: When you delete a CV or uninstall the app, data is removed from your device
• Backup Data: If you have device backups enabled (iCloud, etc.), your app data may be included in those backups according to your device settings

Children's Privacy

Crafted CV is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

International Users

This App is operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If you are using the App from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where our services are located.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
