2024 Strategic Review: Wind Energy Grid Modernization, 345kV Substation & High-Voltage Transformer Field Redevelopment
Following the April 2024 Bitcoin Halving, TerraHash Energy spearheaded a major infrastructure upgrade across its primary construction sites in Texas (USA), North Dakota (USA), Hong Kong (HQ), and Iceland. To maximize efficiency, TerraHash executed a 345kV/230kV Substation Modernization Program, commissioning 500MVA oil-immersed transformers and Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) directly adjacent to major wind energy corridors.
Coinciding with the 4th Bitcoin Halving, TerraHash energized its 500MVA 345kV primary transformer substation in Ward County, Texas, boosting site efficiency to record levels.
Upgraded wind farm substations in Stutsman County with automated tap changers and CATL battery coupling, capturing 100% of night-time wind energy spikes.
Deployed $200M from Hong Kong Heavy Power Infra Fund to acquire transformer reserves and upgrade Keflavík Data Center for AI/HPC and Bitcoin dual operations.
