TrueVoice for Reddit — Chrome Extension

What data we access

This extension accesses publicly available information from Reddit's public API:

• Account age and creation date
• Karma scores (comment and post karma)
• Recent comment history (last 30 comments) — used to calculate subreddit diversity and comment variety

This is the same information visible on any Reddit user's public profile page. No private data, direct messages, or account credentials are accessed.

How data is stored

• All data is cached locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local).
• Cached data automatically expires after 24 hours.
• You can clear all cached data at any time from the extension popup.

What we do NOT do

• We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
• We do not send data to any external server or third party.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
• We do not access your Reddit account, credentials, or cookies.
• We do not modify any Reddit content or interact with Reddit on your behalf.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage — to cache API responses locally and save your settings.
• Host permissions for reddit.com — to display badges on Reddit pages and fetch public API data.
